they used to be a much larger part of the community when i first got into linux in the early aughts; i’m glad RTFM is no longer considered a reasonable response.

4·21 hours agomen like kling were one of the reasons why i stopped being a software engineer; they’re so incredibly common in the field and so highly rewarded by it that it’s clear that the field’s leaders are aligned with them.
it makes me wonder what i’ll be doing once firefox is no longer a thing.
