Same, I didn’t know why but it’s actually working as a journal better than any other app I’ve tried for me. Maybe just feeling like it’s not going to try to sell me something or steal my data.

I’m going to have to agree, end the article saying that it will drag on and hurt his midterms. What a joke, no shit but so will innumerable other equally damning things. He’s clearly banking on the midterms not happening.

Won’t be destroyed, definitely very out of tune though. Wouldn’t be great to play on but cold is not as bad as heat can be. Luckily he didn’t take it in with him.

I’m working my way through Open Veins of Latin America which goes into this in much more depth. I haven’t finished but would recommend, although the reason I haven’t finished is because it is a moderately heavy read.

Definitely some interesting thoughts here. I do think you need to ask yourself if you aren’t romanticizing in the opposite direction.

I think there probably are some things that we could agree are universally disgusting , but it would still be a subjective opinion, just one that no one would argue. What I mean to say is that beauty and ugliness are human constructs, they don’t actually exist. It would be kind of pointless to go back and forth with someone countering examples of beauty with examples of ugliness.
