no no, there seems to be a misunderstanding.
I said:
It’s not like nobody rewards donators
I referred to others like FSF that reward users by giving them something. For example, Signal gives badges in their app.
wdym? we were discussing donations. no?
if you are back on the privacy topic, let’s just say they aren’t as privacy-friendly as they say they are. I wouldn’t be using anything firefox-based browsers if other usable alternatives existed. their sandboxing is pretty bad on android. which is also why, for example, grapheneOS ships vanadium, which is a chromium based browser.
yeah ok. It’s not like nobody rewards donators
I guess Virtual Filesystem?
Why not just a donation?
All good.
When did I ask for software??? I think you’re confusing me with the OP.
np, have a good day
Sure:
We may recommend content to you based on your browsing history, language, and country location. The process of deciding which stories you should see based on your browsing history happens locally in your copy of Firefox, and Mozilla does not receive a copy of your browsing history. Mozilla does receive aggregated data about the recommendations you see and click. We also share aggregated data about the sponsored content you see and click with our third-party ad platform Kevel so advertisers can see how many people click on their articles. This aggregated data does not identify you personally.

why should I put it into a summarizer
The answer is the entire privacy policy.
Well then, you should know that they aren’t any better. They track and spy on users, and also put ads into the browser itself.
Mozilla collects the data they need to fix bugs
Funny
You should look at their privacy policy. You’ll be shocked at how privacy invasive they really are.
Hmm yeah. Not as bad as chrome but not that better. At this point, I use Librewolf because it allows uBo and has mozilla spyware removed. Mozilla pretends to be privacy-friendly. They aren’t your friend.
I hope you don’t mean stock firefox.
No, I don’t think it is an easter egg. Probably just a missing check in code that needed to be done.
No.
If you wanted to get the majority, you’d use the way I mentioned.
Or you can just have two links, one for lemmy (the way I’ve done it) and one the way you’ve done it for mbin/kbin users.
How are things going for uBlock Origin? Most privacy minded people here don’t use Chromium based browsers. It works perfectly fine on firefox based browsers. And it’s not like it not being available on chromium based browsers made it worse on firefox as well.
I just personally don’t like it.
