Young people just don’t understand saving, and how your options expand after saving even just a little bit. Use this post as an example - if you put that $100-130 away every month, in about 6 months you can afford a gun. This gives you a lot more opportunities.

All of these democrats like him and AOC don’t even tell you what they will do. They wax on about what everyone else should do. Fucking losers.

All this AI stuff basically is witchcraft. We should tie these tech bros to a rock and see if they float.
I’d like to smack Bethesda for making zero content mod breaking updates multiple times a year, and Steam too for forcing those updates on a 10+ year old single player game. At this point they have killed the modding scene in favor of paid mods and hyping up their fucking TV show.

Technology@lemmy.world•Comcast turns your Xfinity WiFi into a home motion detectorEnglish
1·12 days agoYour first post wasn’t vague at all. You very clearly put the word ‘track’ right in front of the word ‘devices’ because you were discussing tracking devices. You were discussing something entirely different than triangulating interference. I think you might still be confused about what this product is.

1·12 days agoWild amount of confidently incorrect here.
For starters, what you describe tracks other electronic devices. That’s neat, but this new stuff is tracking bodies of interference. Meat bags. The fixed antennas and beam forming have given stereoscopic vision to interference identification on Wi-Fi routers. Before, it just saw an SNR spike between the router and TV, but it couldn’t tell if it was a cat up on the counter or a crowd in your living room. Now it can. Now it’s able to tell when something the size of a human walks past your ring camera without having any access to that camera.

There’s a documentary on Pepe that includes the original artist, if you’re interested in the story. both the fictional canon and real life arc.
