Oh for sure. My own hypothesis or twists on them generally come from actual things I’ve heard or read about, and I do watch a lot of Kurzgesagt. Even completely baseless ones, like Creationism, has some interesting ideas perfect for fiction to explore.

Then you want WorkshopDL. I would be stuck with a minimally modded RimWorld if not for this, because I got the game on GOG, and I’m not paying for it and all the DLC again just to get access to the workshop.

Give me shit for using Spotify; IDC. It’s literally the most convenient way of listening to music. If it was easier to find and download it via piracy, I would just do that.

A theory I’ve been writing into a fiction for a while is that Earth is just the oldest planet with life on it and Humans are the most technologically advanced species in the universe. The reason nobody has contacted us is because the rest of the universe is still basically in the caveman stage. Of course, my story is set like 1000 years in the future, after we have FTL spacecraft and start finding alien life on other worlds to know this. Also: Things don’t turn out well for the aliens.

Personally, I find “rough living” a helluva lot easier than the “convenient” world we have built. At least shit makes sense when you have to grow/hunt your own food, build your own shelter, etc. I would prefer to have to do all that, than the kinds of things I have to do in order to eat, have clothing and shelter, etc in society.

Jesus… When I still played TF2, you’d just hear people having normal conversations, making jokes, getting the entire server to sing along to a song, or light smack talking like “haha eat rockets, foo!”
