I am surprised about this, I was given it on Steam and never had any need for extra launcher on it I think. I’m curious what would happen with the launcher if it was installed with the offline installers instead of Gog galaxy

The longevity of the games is something that I’ve had in my mind a lot. I hope I can hold on to the games I own all my life and still play them some day in retirement.

That is one big reason I like PC, and line buying the games from Gog. Besides playing on any PC in the future, I can keep the offline installers too and hopefully future computers have emulation available to play them as needed too.

That’s why I buy from Gog. No need to deal with launchers, always online requirements or any other bs
