That is all anyone ever asked for. Farmers are not the kind to throw their hands up and call support to help fix and modify their own shit.

Thanks, I edited the headline to make it clearer, but this community is overrun with confidently incorrect folks.

Depends on the country. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personality_rights in shithole countries you don’t.

Depends. You have image rights. Those may not be relevant to people taking pictures…but they are relevant to databases collecting info on you.

Yeah, I agree that decentralization of the grid and self-consumption is better than these mass baseload solutions…but they will only get cheaper.

I disagree. If you have thousands of these and some program live cross-matching and correlating everything about everyone, it is a different problem from “being seen in public” or even traditional street cameras. Before, they could investigate a limited number of people, so they had to focus on suspects and a case. Now they just mass trawl everyone’s lives simultaneously.

They really must take every single last one source of joy from everyone who hasn’t turned into sheep at this point.

Yeah, when it first rains after a hot dry summer you can see the white foam streaming down the streets 🤮

Especially the more syncophantic ones can delude you into thinking you’re a fucking genius.

To me, the case of India and Saudi Arabia are the strangest examples of climate denial, because they are going to be the most uninhabitable and keep buying/selling. Like they think they can outrun global warming through fossil accelerated development. Australia too, because they are drowning in solar power, but still hold onto coal. russia at least makes sense, they just want to become warmer and unlock new land, even if the whole place will turn into a giant swamp.

You can see this directly from the Iran war effects: peaking oil prices and fossil scarcity are harming food production more globally (via fertilizers, pesticides, tractors) than transporting it.

AI allows you to quiet quit without shitty bosses noticing. Win win :/

It already lost when it sold out.

Yeah, I’ve heard that one before, it is an exception. Even if true (there are ways to design aluminum plants to work around that, or use hydro power or wind or some other baseload) but not for most processes that are labour-intensive or even energy-expensive things like dessalination.
The other excuse I’ve seen was that nobody designs a factory to only output 30% of the time…but you operate on residual electricity costs for a few hours a day.

“Oh but there is no sun at night”. Send your factory workers home every night, problem solved.

They had to do one thing…

burn your clothes too…and don’t forget to cleanse your intestines…you never know :D oh oh and screening for the sexually transmitted spyware.

Ask it what the Helvetica scenario is.
Hahaha, I wasn’t expecting the future to be elderly people walking around high as kites :D but sounds fun
