Really? Hahaha well late cheers, I’m enjoying some cold ones right now. When I started playing I knew from the get go it was going to be hard and I was going to be shit, so I didn’t mind taking my time getting familiar with the mechanics… Also the lore was intriguing and the gameplay looked like a dance, I wanted to be able to do that. I enjoy being proficient at hard things so I guess I have the right mentality for them. But to each their own, definitely not for everyone.

My only concern for body parts and specimens is/would be: were they ethically sourced? There are laws arround that thankfully.

Soulslike and adjacent games are meditative for me, they require focus and adaptablity, but most of all, perseverance and patience. The payoff is so rewarding …Once the machanics fully click and you start to flow with what the game throws at you… Ah blissssss.

Explore just see where the game takes you, find yourself in a tough area? Try another route. Don 't rush the progress, there’s a lot to be found in DS1.

I’ve never played online before, but I wanted to help others out in fights I know well, or want to replay; I guess now with nightreign I’ll get my fill for that co op experience. Maybe I’ll try for other games as well, but besides Elden Ring I don’t know how active the co op scene will be.

That makes sense. I do like my trophies and good endings so I’ll give it a solid try. But yeah, not everything is for everyone, I’m no stranger to enjoying a game I know I’ll never play watching someone else go through it; all fine and dandy in my book.
